When we travel through cities I like to take photos of some of the old buildings - there's huge amounts of colonial history. This one in Parnell in Auckland is the home of the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind and was designed by architect Edward Bartley then opened in 1909.

Nice header and nice building.
The Jubilee Building has such character.
Love the charming colonial architecture.
Happy Monday, Amy!
A beautiful building. I like the arched windows.
That looks like a very serious institutional building, which it was. Not inviting
That's a beautiful building.
A beautiful building with lots of character and history.
I love the architectural look of these old buildings - they have so much more "character" than modern buildings.
Lovely architecture!
From an age when buildings signalled permanence and importance and commitment to cause.
That's an attractive building. I love the deep porches on the second story and then the stone arches on the first with the big windows.
Interesting architecture. Love the "porch"!
