We were in Reefton after our trip to the Lower Buller Gorge last week. It's one of those old gold mining towns that was hugely population in the Victorian era. On our way home we stopped into one of the op shops in the town - the others we've visited have had some cool vintage stuff in them, expensive but cool. This one was ok, nothing to right home about so we didn't end up buying anything.

The shop looks to be nicely laid out, even if you never found anything to buy.
My kind of shop to look around.
Sometimes it's fun to just browse!
I like looking around in places like that but I have never bought anything.
Just looking around is fun for me. Usually I walk out with a few books. :)
The gold mining history sounds fascinating - that era really sparks my imagination. We call op shops "secondhand shops" here, and I love browsing them too. It's always a gamble with secondhand shops - some days you find treasures, other days it's just a fun browsing adventure. Thanks for visiting last week!
In the Company of Me
...a fun place to visit.
Exploring op shops in historic towns like Reefton sounds charming!
Even if this shop didn't have treasures for you, browsing through history must've been delightful.
Happy Thursday, Amy!
