The cook's pantry

I had never been into this business until a couple of weeks ago when someone recommended, they sell home brew items, so B (being a home brewer was keen to visit). Most things I wasn't really interested in but I did find cans of stuffed Greek cabbage but tasted weird - I'm sure made fresh it's more authentic and some keto chocolate biscuits but apart from that most things were a bit over my budget.

Linking up with Mosaic Monday and Blue Monday.

Stuffed Greek cabbage in a tin. Even I find that strange. I wonder if anyone actually buys the stuff.
I do make stuffed cabbage leaves with an egg and lemon sauce. It's delicious, fresh and hot out of the pot!

Just reread. You bought a tin and tried it?? A pity it wasn't OK. Bet its completely different compared to home made

I tend to just have a few simple standard dishes that I make with slight varieties of spices etc and freeze in portions... So I have certain days when I cook but most days just defrost and microwave! :)

We hardly eat anything from a tin, just maybe soup once in a while.

Tinned cabbage sounds a little scary tbh. #MosaicMonday

It is very difficult to find something in that great choice.

Greek stuffed cabbage in a tin doesn't sound very appetizing 🤔

Happy Monday, Amy!

Thank you for this wonderful post. We mostly cook ourselves, which means that I like to prepare some meals in advance and then freeze them in portions. Fresh vegetables are so important for our health.

Thank you so much for this wonderful post on
