Walking

Photo taken in Orewa, Auckland - November 2023

Because I work nights it's not often that I get out for a morning walk it's nice to the see what's happening and what people are up to.

I forgot my pair of jandals so I ended up buying another pair from one of the local shops. These are something that most people in New Zealand wear throughout the year. Such a classic Kiwi icon.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday, All Seasons and Tom's Signs.

Fabulous wide footpaths - a place designed for pedestrians.

Lovely kiwi jandals!! Does Para rubber still exist? They used to sell the best.
I walk in the evening but I'd love a morning walk. Never feel energised enouvh

Wish we had weather for these shoes all year round, too!
Enjoy!

Hmm, I love learning little cultural things like wearing sandals throughout the year.

Love the Kiwi jandals. You've reminded me, I need to get out for a morning walk.

It's great to be out and about to see what's happening.

I could never walk in that kind of shoes... not for a proper walk, anyway - even in summer.
