One thing that always makes me stop wherever I am is dogs. If I see a dog, I ask the owner if I can pat he/she. This one was outside one of the local hotels now a backpackers where minor construction work was being done inside. Edited to add: No I didn't pat this dog, he looked kind of growly so we just told him he was a cute boy

...something that I never do.
A lovely scene!
Nice street capture, the dog seems to be losing his patience.
I have instilled in the grandchildren the need to always ask the owner's permission before approaching a dog.
Being a dog person, dogs know and want to say Hi to Pirate!
We still ask though.
Nice street photography. I like it.
I'm the same way. I love dogs!
I love dogs so I do the same thing. :)
I love dogs but don't pet those I don't know.
I steer clear of patting strange dogs.
Builder's dogs are often chosen to look growly to protect tools around the site and on the truck.
wISE NOT TO PAT AN UNKNOWN DOG IF OWNER ISN'T AROUND. #rUBYtUESDAYtOO
I avoid petting unfamiliar dogs, but I can never resist petting cats!
Hugs and blessings, Amy
With some dogs I can hardly resist and hope that the owner will allow me to pet the dog. With some dogs I don't feel like stroking... (It's like with people, sometimes more sympathy, sometimes less...)
All the best from Austria - have a good time!
