Keeping it real
Westport - a small town where everyone knows each other - where you can stop and have a chat with a random person you might see on the street. Maybe we need more of this. Keep it real. A quiet St Patrick's Day came and went yesterday but today is my 52nd birthday and let me tell you that I'm feeling my age. Sometimes it would be nice to sleep in alot longer.
Linking up with Weekend reflections and the Weekend roundup.

Westport does look like a little town. I grew up like that, out on a surrounding farm but we all knew the town folk and they knew all the farmers. I went to a country school though, not one in town until I was in the eleventh grade. Your 'street' picture is nice too. We aren't going anyplace today but I wlll wear an old green shirt.

It's a warm feeling of belonging living in a town like that and being able to greet people as you walk down the street. You're home!
I think I mentioned that my hair stylist was going to New Zealand. Well he's back and he showed me some fantastic images from his trip. He did a bungee jump over a gorge, took a helicopter ride over a glacier and rode a jet boat on a river. The trip turned into quite the adventure for him and he loved every minute of it. He said he couldn't get over how beautiful the country is.
I'm 67 and feel all of it!!
