Flowers

When we stopped at Christchurch Airport back in January I noticed this tropical looking mural but since then I've been struggling to find out anything about it. All I can find is that it may have been part of the "street art/murals and installations" there but no idea who painted it.

News from us: we have finally found a rental property and are hoping to move in tomorrow. It'll be nice living in an insulated warm sunny house closer to town. Until now I have been driving half an hour to and from work on very dark country roads.

That's a lovely cheery mural especially for an airport. Great news about the house!

Airports often have beautiful murals, and I'm always frustrated when I have to rush past them, only to wait for hours in a much less well-decorated gate area. But stopping risks missing the flight: no can do. I wonder why they never seem to have murals at the gate.

Beautiful mural.
And yay for the new apartment. 1 1/2 hours one way is a pain, even at sunny times...

Beautiful mural Amy, I'm looking forward to photographing a mural at the arrivals area of Perth Airport when I return home from our overseas trip in August.
Good luck with your new rental, hope you'll be happy there. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
