Telephone box

Another lot of photos from the Paihia St John's Op shop - when R (my daughter) and I were there last we spotted this old vintage telephone box which they were using as a changing room.

And a selfie from me, it's good to see it's still being used because it's not often these are seen in our world today.

What a beautiful changing room and way to preserve the historic phone box.

No where near the charm of the ones we have here on the UK

What a great use for this iconic phone box. I've seen some used as a little free libraries.

What a great idea for a changing room.
And in an op shop too.

When were phone boxes last big enough to turn around in let alone use as a changing room?! Cool use for it though. I love to see stuff repurposed and really good at its new job.

A very different use, unless you're Superman.

Lovely use of the phone box. I must go op shopping next time we are in Paihia. It is one place I haven't op shopped.

Linda cabina me recuerda alas de Superman o la del doctor misterio pero en otro color.

Although I have never seen a telephone box used in this fashion, it certainly is a good idea although a bit small for a lot of oversized people today. Have a lovely week head.

I'm glad this pretty red telephone "box" is getting use. Cell phones took them out of business. Nice shot.

Funny coincidence.
Elizabeth just has art with a phone booth and I will check come Monday if the one I know still exists and works!
We have one that is a library, too, it´s also red and I plan to give some books away on Monday, too.

Ohhh. Do you remember those days we actually used them cause our parents didn´t allow silly talk from home? Or was it just my parents?

That's a clever idea to use that old phone box as a dressing room.

We have several old phone booths still around here in Tulsa. Two of which have working phones in them.

A great use for the phone box and a good thing that it's still in use.

Are you wearing a 'painted' mask?
