Homegrown and Sweet

Now that Summer is nearly here we are starting to see more orchards and people advertising homegrown fruit and vegetables. This one has some strawberries, beans, kamo kamo, tomatoes, courgettes and Maori potatoes.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday, All Seasons and Tom's Signs.

I sooooo mis buying cherries at the roadside and driving home leaving a trail of cherry stones all the way home. In fact I used to have to buy two punnets otherwise there was none left for home. There is nothing like that here and I miss it.

Fresh fruit and veggies, doesn't get any better than that. Never heard of kamo kamo.

I miss our roadside stands. I almost never see them anymore in my area.

We see similar scenes here in Oklahoma when we have our late spring. Of course with a different mix of fruits and vegetables.

I do love fresh strawberry season, but I am going to have to wait seven months for it to roll around again.

Greetings and Salutations! Isn't it wonderful to be able to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables from stands outside. Enjoy the summer days ahead. You deserve it.
