Rainbow connection

Back roads are the best. A few weeks ago I drove down a new road where there were a few old ramshackle buildings. This one in the middle of a field looked lonely, even with the rainbow in the sky.

So we are in lockdown until the remainder of the week except for Auckland who stays in until the 31st August, understandable really as they have the majority of the positive cases. So far I think we've gotten away rather lightly again considering the rates other countries have shown. As of today we have 107 in both Auckland and Wellington.

I enjoy leaving the main roads and finding something different. This was a good find.

I love looking at old buildings on country roads! You are very lucky with your COVID numbers. Things are a lot worse in many places.

I love scenes such as this. It is soothing to the soul and at the same time sets the imagination free to imagine the people there.

Yes and as I've said before the reason why your country has gotten away lightly is because you follow sensible precautions and I wish I could move there!!! Our former (so-called) leader created a monster by telling ignorant people that they didn't have to listen to the truth!

Anyway --- sorry for the rant. I am just envious. Your country road picture is beautiful and we love "covid drives" just getting out there for a day drive and seeing different areas close to home is as good as a vacattion!

I love those old buildings but it saddens me that they have been left to deteriorate like that. I also wonder about the people who lived there.
