2 cruise ships in today

Thank goodness for days off. This morning we walked a total of 6ks and on our way we stopped to take photos of 2 cruise ships that were in port - the Queen Mary and the 7 seas voyager.

The first cruise ship is a transatlantic ocean liner and can hold 2695 passengers. The second is a cruise ship for Regent 7 seas cruises, is a bit smaller and can hold 706 passengers. Beautiful stunning late Summer's day out there though.

Yes, these boats are the biggest polluters on the planet. A cruise liner emits in only one day as many fine particles as a million cars. But they are really photogenic...

The ships look magnificent.

Does that mean you were inundated with tourists Amy?

A beautiful day for the tourists to explore the area. The ships are huge especially the first one. A floating village, some of our towns have less that 2000 people in it. Nice photos of the ships. The blue sky is awesome.

It really does look like a beautiful day! I imagine that having that many passengers disembark in your town must make quite an impact! (I wish I were one of them.)

What a gorgeous day! You must have enjoyed your "stroll" on this lovely say filled with sunshine. The smaller cruise ship is more to my taste!

Is it nice to be somewhere where the cruise ships come to?

Those ships take up a lot of space. Lucky you to get photos without a lot of people in them.
