Fries

Last time we were visiting Franz Josef we stopped at a local cafe and enjoyed quite a decent lunch.

My youngest child who is 25 years old ordered a meal of chips/fries and to us this was a huge portion, bigger than I think we have ever seen.

It took us all over an hour to try and get through them and then we ended up taking the rest home. Best chips I've ever tasted and here in New Zealand chips/fries are a big thing and very very popular.

Linking up with Weekend Reflections and the Weekend Roundup.

Seems an age since I ate any chips let alone decent ones.

Sounds like a true Kiwi chip experience

Good fries can sometimes be hard to find. The ones that come with fish and chips here are terrible, they're so soggy.

We have Wendy's several here. As besides Fries, they have baked potatoes and we think we are better off without all the grease of fries. Mrs J and I share one potato.

Amy, I love fries. Fish and Chips is one of my favorite meals! I put vinegar on both, that's a tradition in my family.
