Rain and flooding...

New Zealand has been dosed with some major rainfall this week, so far the Coromandel region has been flooded as has parts of Auckland and there's more to come this weekend.

Before it all started this is the photo I took first thing in the morning from our bedroom window looking out over the neighbour's roof and onto the street. I haven't edited this photo except to sharpen and add my copyright on it so the colours are all original.

Linking up with Skywatch Friday today :-)

Hello, we could use some of that rain here in Florida. There are some wildfires from being too dry. Love the pretty colorful sky! Enjoy your day and weekend ahead!

Ominous, but beautiful morning skies.

Beautiful morning sky. I hope you are not affected by the flooding. We are near some bad range fires here in this part of Florida.

We have a similar saying in the United States "red sky in morning, sailors take warning". My neighborhood in the United States flooded in 2011; I will hope for the best for you. Those colors took my breath away. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

I wish that rainfall was newsworthy on the Isle of Lewis.
