It's been raining here the last few days, regular pelting rain - all fine and dandy if you're inside and cosy and warm but if you're travelling in it to and from work it isn't much fun.
On the way home this afternoon the sky was just starting to clear up so I snapped these photos of the Marina down opposite the Port of Tauranga where boats and yachts are moored. In the 2nd photo I think two of the small dingys have taken on a bit too much water as it looks like they are starting to sink - hope the owners know...

Those dinghys don't look as though they will remain afloat much longer. We have flooding here in London at the moment and another storm is forecast again tonight. Not much fun.
I was browsing at cruise itineraries and I have seen that Tauranga is a port of call of some of the cruises. Do you dislike when it's cruise day and cruises descend on your town like ants on a picnic table?
Worth a Thousand Words
Great shots and skies.
Sydney – City and Suburbs
Pretty shots, grotty weather and all!!
Pretty pics!
Beautiful, clear shots with interesting skies.
hey, yes Tauranga is a port of call, in fact where we live we can see the cruise ships when they are berthed at the wharf from our lounge window. I don't mind tourists coming here, it's good for the town and we hardly ever see many of them anyway :-)
is it Summer there for you right now? do you get much rain there over that season?
Hello, I like the first shot with the stormy skies and boats. Great shots. Have a happy weekend!
Beautiful photography of the sky and boats ~
Happy Day and Weekend to you ~ ^_^
I like the mood of these images. Especially the first one. :)
