Friday skies from my rainy Autumn week

This week I've captured a few morning and evening skies... the one above is one I saw last night in a brief break from all the torrential rain we've had. The building in the background is apparently grain silos near the port.

This one is along by the beach, about 5 minutes walk from where we live...the island is named Rabbit Island I think, not sure why as I doubt there are rabbits on it but apparently you can't walk out to it.

And lastly this one is along by Pilot Bay when I was on the way to work - I couldn't resist getting a shot of the orangey sky. For more Skywatch Fridays click here and have a lovely Easter weekend :-)

Love the downward flourish of light crossing the horizontal colour in the last photo. An interesting series.

I wonder if Rabbit Island is habitable.

What lovely skies! I wondered how you were in Autumn still and realised you were from Down Under.

Beautiful shots! I really like the last two. The wet sand reflection of the second one is great, and the misty sky on the last one really stands out!

Wonderful skies and variations in color. We've been having much needed rain in California...but not enough.
