Waitangi Day views of Pilot Bay and Papamoa Beach
Last weekend with it being a long weekend aka Waitangi Day for us kiwis, we thought it was a good idea to get out and about instead of being stuck inside. The top photo is the view of Pilot Bay in Mount Maunganui, somewhere that has boats moored here and there plus apartments lining the main road.
And this one, although a little unclear was of a paraglider on Papamoa Beach flying upwards in the Summer breeze, and might I say it's too hot here, we're over the humidity - roll on Autumn!

Lovely scenes. So many different shades of blue.
Nice shots. I have been enjoying the weather this summer, after spending the last 12 years here wishing it were a bit warmer in the summer.
I so need this, it feels like -12c here and it's expected to feel like -30c this weekend :-( Send more sunny pictures!
