It's a fishing kind of day...

If ther'es one thing I like to do it's fishing. Here in NZ you can catch such fish as Snapper, Mullet, Kingfish and many others. The largest one I've ever caught was approx 8.5lbs so quite a nice size. Here in Mangawhai people regularly go surfcasting on the rocks on along the beach. I have no idea what these people caught but it's always alot of fun.

I think I would enjoy spending a few hours watching the sea as I doubt I would be able to catch anything. Your photos make it look beautiful.

I'm not really a fisherman, but it is fun!

They have some pretty heavy duty rods and reels. I've never been surf fishing but I've seen lots of people do it.

That is serious fishing! I used to like to go with Bill when he fished streams and rivers... So peaceful.

I remember when I used to fish off those rocks. I wouldn't be able to scramble out there now. Just as well I have some great memories because there is a growing list of things I can't do as I age.
