Autumn skies from the beach and views from a gravel road


Two images to share this week - this one above is one i snapped a few weeks ago at our local surf beach. Around the corner from the main beach is a small area that links up to the estuary named Picnic Bay. There are alot of rocks on the sand and by the bottom of the cliff along with some large Pohutukawa trees. This shot is of outlines from one of the trees and clouds seen above.


And this one I took last weekend when i was dropping off my younger son so his friend's house for the weekend. Just out of town about 5-10 minutes is a gravel road named Cames road - lots of farmland and open pastures and in the distance if you can see the road - thats the main way out of Mangawhai that links up with other towns and State highway 1.
